nick saban is so smart he knows exactaly what he is doing, every team is spending like crazy throwing money around and overpaying for players, he is just waiting for everything to settle down like he did last year. He will get the players he wants trust me, he will wait until the teams with the money spend it all and he will pick up guys for good prices! calm down everyone saban is a football genius, this time next week all of our needs will be taken care of, i am not even worried about signing players!

I love Saban too, but some of this praise is a bit much.. I guarantee if Wanny was doing the same thing people would be calling him a moron, etc.

See the difference is Wanny IS a moron. Saban is doing it deliberately, Wanny just couldnt get anyone to visit!!!:lol:

I am not saying trust me, trust saban even if we dont get all the big names its ok saban knows what he is doing and if we dont sign brees or get pepper its probably because saban did not want to overpay for them.

I agree. Sometimes I get tired of hearing it. People are all over Saban like they want to make love to him. Don't get me wrong, I like him and I'm glad he's our coach, but people act like the guy has won 5 Super Bowls or something.
THe fact that we haven't signed anyone isn't part of Saban's grand plan of success. He is probably pissed off that we have lost out on so many opportunities with some quality players. The originator of this thread makes it sound like Saban has master-minded everything that has happened in free agency thus far. News Flash: Saban likes great players too. I'm sure he's growing impatient with the Brees situation and is probably a bit frustrated that we have yet to be able to sign anyone. He may be a good/great coach, but that doesn't stop things from going haywire on him from time to time. Noone has everything go there way, I don't care how good you are.
