Saban made ultimate disrespect to Dolphins by his own words.

If there was a link to that I'd love it even more.

A farewell statement or something would have been nice. Wanny did that much at least. Maybe a "my hearts not in it so it's best for the dolphins if I leave" type thing. His b#### of a wife probably had the suitcase packed sometime last week.

Hey maybe Nick knew he couldnt get the job done in the nfl maybe thats why he left.

If he would have manned up and talked to the miami media one last time people might be a little easier on him.

He lied to us, the team, the owner, the staff, everyone. He behaved in a crappy manner and is getting called out for it.

If he knew he couldnt cut it, or if his heart just wasnt it, just say so. We will respect that. We would rather a person whos fired up to be our coach.

He slunk out like a bi*** when it seemed he wanted an extra day in order to tell his staff personally, instead he had already decide he wanted the job and literally phoned it in. He may have contacted players personally to tell them, we may hear some of that soon. But hopping on a plane when he was expected at the team headquarters and not offering any explanation up to the fans is such a Dick Saban move. Classless POS.

You know Leb****** loved writing that article. He just loved it

"The team isn't better than when Saban arrived, just older. What little winning Saban has done has been with players left for him by Jimmy Johnson and Dave Wannstedt. What's the best decision Saban has made in two years? Can you name one?"

This is completely true.

I hope the man has a hard time living with the shame of what he has done the rest of his life. I don't care how many excuses people make for him and his decision, the bottom line is that he took the Miami job and signed a five year contract to turn the team around and didn't even come close to doing it. The team was in shambles when he took the job and it is still that way when he left. There are just as many questions now as when he arrived if not more. There are a lot of unsigned free agents on this team that will have to be signed or let go and a lot of aged players that will require decisions on. IMO Saban was intimidated by the situation he had gotten himself into and knew he had made some wrong decisions that affected the rebuilding of the Dophins. This is a sad note and another embarrasment to a football team that deserved more. No!, I am not happy for Saban or his family and I don't wish them luck, he proved how much class he doesn't have, and made a personal statement that theres nothing wrong with telling a lie. Wannstedt has more class than Saban, he refused to acknowledge mistakes but at least he didn't lie to cover them up.

I think ethically what he did was pathetic. If he did not say he was not going to take the Alabama job i'd feel differently.

Saban never had any guts to begin with, from the way he managed a game, to his conservative decision making. From addressing the press, and to sneak out the back door and not even give the coaches or players the respect to meet with them and give them his decision face to face like a man.

He cant coach in this league, he does not belong in the same league as men. He truely belongs back with the college boys. Because Saban is no man, hes a little ***** in my opinion that has to lie to his boss, coaching staff, and players, then high tail it out of everyplace he goes with his tail tucked between his legs.

Cant believe he told the coaching staff via speaker phone, how classless was that. And cant even give the players the respect of calling a meeting and giving them his decision in person.

He never deserved this job to begin with

I heard Bates is interested, at least he knows the team and is respected by his players. They played hard for him when he took over in 04

The Full quote is as follows.....

“The best way to disrespect somebody is to just walk away from them. But that is the show business part of what we have to deal with, and to me it's wrong. It's a bad example for young people to see and it's not the kind of character and attitude that we want our players to represent this organization in, our owner, the Miami Dolphins ... or the people on the team who all have to suffer because of that.”
