I cannot believe that saban has the nerve to make excuses for Freotte because of the dirt feild when just like last week he said it is what it is and everyone needs to live with it, and he was not going to let it be an excuse for the kicker or anyone else.If Freotte is the man than just say it dont keep making excuses for not giving AJ the shot.AJ played now worse than Gus did the last couple of weeks an interception for a touchdown lets move on.Saban giving Gus a free pass has AJ afraid of making a mistake. Was the playing calling for Gus a setup so he did not have to try and make any passes???? Last week stats did not matter now they do.All I am asking is just be consistant.

I am a season ticket holder from MD.all I want to do is win!!!!!!! but the lets call a spaid a spaid Gus is in the same boat Feilder was in,he has the coaches pulling for him

MD...Saban is the master of saying nothing at all when he speaks...he loves to answer a question with a "supposition"...He talked for 5 or 10 minutes and didn't really say a thing...don't worry..

Hmmmm, and how many players were hurt last year because of that dirt infield?? Moore? Perry??

Its already known that the dirt does affect and cause injuries. Not just to us, but other teams as well.

Which should just give you a pretty clear indication the coaches think AJ sucks too!!!

I sit facing the Dirt Field. I HATE IT. Let me tell you, until you see it up close, and see how many players were falling, you wouldn't call them excuses, you would call them facts. Ronnie Brown went up the middle, got stuffed, kept his feet moving, tried to bounce to the outside, and slipped on the dirt. A number of special teams players from both teams fell. JT Slipped while trying to get off the line. It is a fact the dirt sucks, and is bad for football. There should be more they can do about it. Now, AJ Feeley didn't have the dirt to worry about except for his last pass.

If you know what the dirt infield does to a game. You game play for it!Specifically, if you win the opening toss , you let the opposing team receive and let them start the game working out of the dirt. 9 times out of 10 the drive gets bogged down and now you get the ball plus have the offensive advantage after halftime. Another offensive strategy is to go shotgun formation and throw passes to the sidelines where the grass is. The pass rush is usually weak because of the footing and the receivers have the grass to run on. Hopefully the coaching staff reads our posts to get these pointers. LOL!

I strongly feel the coaches are confident enough with the first team. It seemed as if they did nothing but run a few plays and get out. They didn't want to reveal anything from the playbook. Is it me or could that have been the deal with the first string?

I've asked about this before....I thought the Marlins were going to be playing elsewhere in 2006....No one has answered.......I guess nothing has been in the Miami papers about it, huh?

Saban's only mistake is not realizing just how bad AJs decision making is! AJ is headed towards ex NFL player faster than you think. the guy has a cannon but no map, its too bad for us! hope Gus works out as stop gap.
