I was listening to Coach Saban on the Dolphins hour on 790 online just now. What impresses me the most about him is the way he praised the team for the great comback and in the next sentence talked about how it was disappointing that we started out the game not ready so we had to make that comback. He is never satisfied and that makes his players realize that they have to continue to get BETTER!

He has to be concerned that everyone is going to feel good about this comeback win and then play like crap next week now that they got away with playing like crap against Buffalo and still won. It's like that story he used about his worst loss in LSU where his team played like crap and then still won the game on some last second hail mary or something and he was ticked because they played like crap and should have lost, and he started going off on them and they were like "whats the problem we won the game" and then the next week they got their butts handed to them

Yeah, I think that is why he made sure to talk about "Not starting Well" as he put it. The players I am quite sure got a similar speech about getting too overconfident after playing poorly for 3/4 of the game and still winning. I am more and more impressed with the METHOD Coach Saban is using on this team.
