clark judge gives a brief evaluation of the phins...he likes them to be good next year lol

"Give me Miami's Nick Saban, though Cleveland's Romeo Crennel deserves a gold star for pulling the improbable -- winning two of his first four games with that offense. But Saban has the Dolphins competitive seven games after the bottom fell out. He not only beat Carolina, he beat Denver, too. In fact, he buried the Broncos. Plus, he has Ricky Williams playing again. If I were to guess now, I'd say the Dolphins finish second in the AFC East. That's an achievement in a division where everyone but Miami last year had a winning record and where two of the four clubs went to the playoffs -- including the Super Bowl winner. And look how he's done it -- with journeyman Gus Frerotte as his quarterback and a struggling offensive line. This team is well-coached, and with the cap room it has to spend on free agents, will be a playoff factor next year. "

Yes, and all you anti-Pete Prisco-ers. He also writes good things about Saban.

"They're 3-4, so the record isn't sparkling, but they have a chance the next two weeks to show they can be a factor in the division race. They get the Falcons at home this week, then follow it up the next week by facing the Patriots at home. The feeling here is the Dolphins can win both those games, and then Saban will be getting even more attention for his coaching when his team is in first place. In two years, he will have his team pushing for a Super Bowl. You wait and see."

It's nice to here some experts saying the same comments we make on this board!

Holy crap Prisco said that???

DAMNNNNN ....never thought I'd see the day.

good read thanks

only problem i got is that prisco is an idoit (he picked the raiders to win the superbowl this year w/ no defense) and he prodicted the dolphins pushing for the superbowl soon.

lol i'd love to hear one good reason why any of these writers would be anti-dolphins. or ANY media person. do you really htink they care enough to hate the dolphins?

Prisco was REALLY anti Dolphin when Saban instituted his media policy. Prisco has a lot of buddies in the Miami media and did not like the way Saban was treating them. He wrote a rant about it in August (can't find the link).

Regardless of whether he is pro or anti Dolphins I stopped reading his crap a long time ago. The only time I go to his article is when someone here posts what he says.

He is a national writer for a large website yet he is less informed then anyone. The guy is a bandwagon jumper. I sometimes doubt he even watches the damn sport.

Those can't be Prisco's words. Aliens must have used a ray on him and scrambled his wee little brain.:assimilat

Wow! Those are some pretty bold statements especially considering what he said at the beginning of the year.

He doesn't want to eat a whole portion of crow at the end of the season.
