I know it's early, but I get a sense of a new dynasty born in Miami. I can't help myself but ask : Does Nick Saban's era seem to show a sense of dominance already ? I've attached a poll question to help sort the Saban-Shula comparison. Enjoy !

WTF? Is Saban wearing a Taco Hat?

its an old avatar that got me into trouble on finheaven. it was the Nacho Nick hat.... it's nostalgic, but not meant to stir up controversy again.( note to administrators)

Wannstedt went 11-5 his first season.

Is this poll about first season as head coach or first season as Dolphins coach?

the website admins thought I was polluting the site because a bunch of us actually considered wearing Nacho Nick hats to a game. It spiraled out of control, i admit. so i have to minimize talk of the Nacho Nick hat. It was funny for a bit.

i never thought i'd say this but it really is too early to tell. we don't know whether Saban is going to give us a 15-1 season or a 2-14 season. i voted Shula because he had us in the superbowl by his second season (and we all know what happened in his third)

Don't ya think that you should do this after the season, instead of after three games in the season?

Like I said, its not solely on record, just the overall feeling, draft, off season moves, personnel changes, etc. take it all into consideration. after 4 weeks, the pats are 2-2 , and everyone is doubting Bellichik now.. thats why i thought of this poll..wanted the perception of different attitudes.
