Nick Saban said, in his day after pc, that it was execution that cost the dolphins the game(mainly refering to the 3rd and 2). He also said that they(the players) can't force things. Two questions. First, who's buying the execution response, and secondly, besides the quarterback who else can "force" anything?

Personally, I find these statements to be directed at one player, Gus. The team is starting to see it, and I believe Saban is as well. At the same time, Saban is the head coach and his decision is final. I just don't understand why he would bad mouth the guy and continue to start him. Anyone believe he is waiting for the team to start pushing Gus around?

I can't see Saban purposly bad mouthing the QB he just stated would be our starter next week. I can't see what good it would do to team chemistry.

Saban needs to wake up and smell the Roses.

The First Bucs headcoach was asked this question after a loss....what do you think about the team's execution....he responded..."I'm all for it"!!

Thats something Saban should have said....concerning Gus.

IMO he's coaching not to lose. I get blasted for saying this, but I say he is coaching scared.

Yeah, it was the execution that hurt. But that is why teams play our run game and give us soft pass defenses, because they know we can not consistently execute the passing game.

So, Saban should just stick with what we are able to consistently execute, and thats the running game.

I would agree with you there ck. Biggest fact, in the pc today he said I "could" have change the play(on 3rd and 2). I think he actually wanted to change it, but was scared to take command. I believe Saban will be an awesome coach someday, hopefully with Miami. He needs to grab the team by the balls first, and let them know who is in charge.

He is not coaching scared...This is a season of evaluation. I'd like to know what kind of reps Lemon is getting in practice. I expect to see him play before the season is over.

Obviously? Maybe not obviously to all the Dolphin fans....if Sage was so bad as you say he is....why did Saban place the Dolphins in such a bad situation....making him the number 2. What would happen if Gus became injured....then you and Saban are in trouble....because then we ALL get to see Sage play....and then we ALL see if he has anything or not.
