saban talking on the radio

he only talked about aj making good decisions no mention of gus, says ricky is doing everything he could ask him, happy with him, ronnie will be ok first game, defense played well but did not like the start of the second half
 
he wants to develop a identity, and wants to build on this game

No mention of Gus, that's a first for Saban when talking the QB position.
 
living where i do, all i get is the bucs side of everything. btw, the bucs preseason production/programming is sh!tty

One thing I've learned about Saban is that he knows when something isn't worth mentioning.

Well Gus did have a good first drive, but he faded right after that. No that's not fair, he got tire after the 1st qtr...No that's not fair either, okay, he played,...like typical Gus..that's why he hasn't started in a number of years, okay, that's fair.. :lol:

That is what i like about Saban media they care about personal things about a player(off the field stuff) all Saban cares about is the fins and if you can make the team better. He is a disiplinarian but he also dont care about the stupid stuff the media comes up with. Saban treats(from what i have seen) his players like adults. Saban is a professional this team will be a winning team in no time.
