Nice to see Saban isn't going to regularly use that bubble to keep the guys out of the heat. He realizes the importance of them acclimating to it now rather than in games. I was a little concerened that the bubble facility would end up more of a problem than a help but not anymore.

Same concerns myself. One of the reasons we come out of the gate winning games is because we don't need to play our way into condition like some teams. There have been arguments, however, that the heat is the source of our late season slides. I dunno if I agree or not. Maybe it has been true in the past, but perhaps Saban's emphasis on target muscle mass and hydration percentages will counteract the effect.
 
Also, I don't think the bubble was made, necessarily, to get out of the heat as it was to be able to practice during stormy conditions. In the past, when the rains and lightening hit, it would mean the end of practice...now they have a place to go and continue. We now have a smart coaching staff and I have a lot of confidence in how they will have our team prepared.

Seems like it, though I think maybe its because we now have the option to practice in nice, cool, AC... Glad that we're gonna stay outside cept for rain though. I think we always tend to start out the year really well conditioned due to the heat and humidity and it gives us an edge over our early opponents.

COme to think of it, even ESPN had articles about less difficult camps around the NFL and taking it easier on the players. I think maybe teams and the media are becoming more concerned about the heat, especially since Kory Stringer andthat guy on the 49ers last year. Its more of an issue now.
 
haha i was just stating the obvoius, black people are endothermic, which is the absorbtion of heat!
im done with this lol it was just something comic to get a few laughs
 
everyone drank the coolaid on global warming.... so they are seeing signs of it everywhere

I tgink its because the heat is really bad this year, more so then it usally is.
