Sure am losing faith in this guy fast.

Under Saban:

Gus=Jay
Feeley=Griese

It's the same thing. Griese never got a real chance to compete to be a starter. I know an injury played a part in it, but he was not going to start.
When Griese got in the "fans" here killed him. They couldbn't see he was better at everything than Jay, no they just killed him just like with AJ.
Well Greise moved on & showed he is much better than Jay & I have no doubt if AJ got into games with SD he would show he is much better than Gus.

It really was the same as that situation & most here are wrong again.
AJ should have been tried in real games this year. Gus is a mistake.
 
DW did stick like 5 years with fiedler and saban is just in his 1st season little early to make a statement like that, one thing is for sure, i haven´t seen so many 1st down passes by miami in a long time, he surely is different in approaching a game and this alone lets me think he will be different

Ok you are right it is only his first year & I am still thrilled to finally have that old regime out.
But sorry. AJ really did not have an even chance to start here because of the circiumstances. I understand he struggled, but Gus was force fed on us & we are paying for it. Gus has got worse with each game where I feel AJ would have got better. Just my opinion.

I just predict no matter what we are stuck with Gus all year unless he gets hurt.

Your going WAY overboard here.
I don't like the trade for Lemon but it's the only move he's made I don't like. I see absolutely zero resemblance to the Wanny regime.
 
Griese better than Fieldler? What the heck are you basing that on. It's funny how everyone forgets Fiedler's record. I am okay that he is gone, but give me a break about Griese being better.

All you complainers are nuts! This team is so much better than last year and I'm loving it. The wins will come.

Of course we are, that is why he was brought in.
He's a temp. fix that already knew the offense.

This isn't baseball.
You can't just bring in a new QB and insert him in a lineup midseason. Football is way too complicated to do that successfully.

Griese had many suitors that thought he had starting talent, while Jay basically begged any team to give him a shot and NONE did. Dosen't that say all you need to know?
 
The only comparison I am making is the QB that was their guy was going to start...period.

Jay was barely good with an 1800 yard RB. Keep on loving that turd.

maybe I am pi$$-poor but so is the Fins starting QB.

Anyways..why make such a crackhead statement like that? We have a gazillion terrible winters with Wannstach...we've had five up and down, but much better football with Saban. Did you always have to be at the front of the line as a kid? Where's your patience?

At least Gus isn't throwing TD passes going the other way.
I think you need to look at it like this. When AJ was ever in the line up preseason or last year he never looked like he was in command. He looked like a desparate QB trying to make plays. I'm not saying Gus is the second coming of Dan Marino but we need a leader at the QB position until we get the QB of the future here. Gus is that leader like it or not, he commands the offense much better than the QB's we have had here over the last 5 years.
