and we both know that he would have traded Pat regardless of whether he drafted Roth or not

Was it Saban's fault that Surtain's contract was so poorly negotiated that it was virtually impossible to re-sign him.

Orton was the top QB prospect in his Junior year but he had a bad year as a senior and he fell under the radar just like Marino did.Not that I am comparing them but he was a good value pick
