Saban swears he's sticking to the draft value chart or we will keep the #2.
So I would expect 2 possible trade scenarios with the Vikes

#2 (2600)
for
#7 (1500)
#18 (900)
#80 (190)

or

#2 (2600)
#70 (240)
for
#7 (1500)
#18 (900)
#49 (410)

if there is no deal as the clock winds down on our selection we might give in to just the #7 and #18, or select edwards and be happy wether we trade him for more picks or keep him.

sorry if something exactly like this has been posted already.

wow that is way to much to give up for edwards

plus saban said he made his own chart and no one know how it compares to the league chart

7, 49 and 80? imo no way we make that deal. i could be wrong but i would not make that deal

would you make 7th 49 and MINN next 2nd 06

remember

Mike williams
C.willams
and the maryland lb will probably be there at the 7th pick :cooldude:

i think mike williams may go alot earlier than people think...to the bears or maybe even to the titans at # 6. http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=75673&highlight=titans

i would love to get antrel rolle at #7 if he is there

as for taking picks next year im never really for that because it could be the last pick of the round which essentially makes it the first pick of the next round

if smith goes to SF then were in a sweet spot..

we can get the vikings and red skins into a bidding war on a trade up if we can convince them that the browns are going for one of the WR. I think we can get alot more than you might think if we can get these guys pinned against eachother :)

man, saban isn't going to trade for any players, not bennett, edge, alexander, or gardner. HE IS TRYING TO GET YOUNGER

We dont need more average running backs. If we get any running backs they might as well be starters not guys to plug into the rotation.

Plus if we did that I think we would be looking for running back at 7th. I would way rather Cadillac (or maybe even ronnie Brown) and a 3rd round pick over Troy Williamson/Shawn Merriman/Adam Jones and Bennett. But that is just my opinion.
