That doesnt necessarily mean that JT is Saban's "perfect" type player....just that Saban is smart enough to know that you adjust your system to the talent you have on hand. That was one of JJ/Wanny's biggest failings....trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

I am a Gators fan so I watch alot of SEC football and alot of LSU. Sabans perfect player is agressive, team oriented but does not fail to strive for personal perfection. The players atributes should fit his position; meaning a DB should be fast, moderatly tall and long arms. Most importantly they should care more about winning than stats

Actually thats not too far off, Ronnie Brown is a selfless player who strives to be great. He is prototypical in his size, and does all things very well. There may have been a better pure runner in the draft, but there wasnt a more complete RB in the draft.

I'm going to say Channing Crowder minus the arrest.. he's a great athlete and hes very aggressive. Nick Saban aid once in an interview that Ronnie Brown was playing great but he was acting like a rookie, and letting the veterans go before him although respectful, Nick Saban wants a player with more drive and attitude at times..
