IMO, it was the trade for Cleo Lemon... I still dont understand wasting a pick on a 3rd stringer, particularly if now they trade for Harrington.. That would be 3 2006 draft picks on QBs.. If the move was to get rid of Feeley, I would have rather just cut Feeleyy, and elevate Brock Berlin to 3rd String rather then wasting a draft pick in the process..

Wow can that be his worst move? Have you seen the kid play? It's the worst move in terms of playing time or by fans standards of contribution. But hey, HE'S a THIRD STRING QB! Let's wait till the preseason where you can ACTUALLY WATCH HIM PLAY??!

signing McKinney

for either $5 million for 2 years or $1.5 for one year.

Too much money for him

Maybe if they had confidence in him being back up, but I dont believe in trading picks for a guy that will be stuck in 3rd string.

The lemon pick has not been played out yet....

And we had to keep reggie. He cost us the same amount whether he played or was cut....

IMHO the worst move was Tebucky Jones. Overpriced and injured.... and when that is your biggest complaint some one is doing a good job.

I never understood that trade and probably never will understand that trade...much like how compensatory picks work

Releasing ED Perry wasn't a wise move even though John Denney is doing a good job, Ed Perry is one of the best if not the best Long Snapper in the league.

Picking up Will Allen from the giants this guys garbage !!!

No he didn't cost us the same. He cost us games by being on the team.

reggie howard was not saban's move. he had to keep howard because of the injruy to poole, our lack of depth, and his contract and the cap hit we would have taken if we cut him prior to last season.

the feeley deal wasnt even really a feeley deal. it was a 6th rounder for cleo lemon and we'll throw in aj and his contract. good move. cleo has potential and i dont think saban really liked feeley

From what I understand Saban thought that keeping Feeley around could've divided the locker room had he stayed. He was also pretty much given every opportunity to be the starter on the team, and showed he was only willing to put in enough work to become a 3rd stringer. No big loss there. No biggie in losing the 6th, think about it this way: He drafted what he considers to be a more capable backup in Cleo Lemon with that pick.

I can't really think of anything he's done bad up to this point, but then again I'm drinkin' the kool-aid :D

this wasn't an idle pick up. Hud knows him well, he's athletic and can run the same offense, skill wise, as Daunte. If he can line up in training camp and operate our playbook he was worth it. I think we will be coaching him up and trading him for better picks than we paid. Nothing we have seen suggests that Nick does anything idly, I am excited to see what Nick see's.

Tebucky Jones and Stockar McDougle. 2 stop-gap measures at needed positions that didn't pan out. Not the end of the world, but the only real moves that have definitely not born fruit. (Lemon=fruit, get it!)

drafting Matt Roth

We didn't need a DE, especially in the 2nd Round. We had more important needs. That with the fact that Matt Roth was useless last year, and I don't see him contributing much this season either.
