Remember last years game vs. The baltimore ravens?By the way i was at that game bc i live in maryland.Him and chambers got serious chemistry.First play of game sage bombs it to chris.70 yard TD.Now this,Sage comes in for frerotten and throws it over the middle and its caught by chambers he goes 77 yards for the td.

They are so good together. Why not start sage.

Yeah, I remember that game. He pretty much was awful after that first pass.

sages 77 yarder to cc was bazilly, but i think it was a great effort by cc, more than a pinpointer by sage...looked sweet though.

You know i think with the time Sage has had on the sideline he might be able to save this season i think with the work he showed in the pre-season and friday nite he might be able to do it for the next 5 or 6 games and if it doeasnt work the ngus comes back what do we have to loose all you guys basically think the season is over anyways.

Yes and that was his first NFL start EVER. Everybody wants to give QBs a honeymoon period after they first start, but not Sage. People here even gave Feeley the benefit of the doubt when he totally sucked *** throughtout the whole second half of last season. And btw, Sage played no worse in that one game than AJ played consistantly throughout 6 games.

So yes, Sage had some problems in his first and only start. But he showed more UPSIDE than any other QB that has ever been on our roster since Marino retired.

Let's be honest. Both of those amazing throws to Chambers were just well-designed plays, one of them coming on play action on the first play of the game. We caught people off guard the first time, and the defense let up a little the second time. I don't mean to discredit the throws because they were placed very well but I don't think it had so much to do with Sage's abilities as it did with good offensive strategy.

Also, last we we didn't have much of a running game to compliment the offense. The oline had gotten better but we didn't have a running back like Ronnie Brown. If we can use short and intermediate passes couple with a few long passes, it'll push the defense back thus allowing the RB's to run the ball more. If we would connect on most of those long balls last night the defense would play back further, allowing even more rushing opportunities. But we all know Gus can't throw the long ball.

I agree it was a great call, but Sage fitted that ball PERFECTLY. It wasn't even an inch off target.

Not saying Sage shouldn't be given a chance, but yea I remember his game last year. That was the game where he made one GREAT throw to a wide open CC who actually caught a ball. I also remember Sage throwing a few passes off the ground on 10-yard outs.

I also remember last year a O-Line that people were saying Marino couldnt play behind.
