Sage not Starting?

Does anybody really beleive that Sage isn't going to start today? I just find it hard to believe that Nick is going to sit the guy that brought us back from 20 down with 10 minutes in the 4th quarter. I think the KEY to today's game is to run the hurry up offense. I think our offense clicks so much better when we are in the hurry up.

I trust Saban, but man I just dont see how sage isnt going to start today.
 
It has been officially announced that he will not start. This is too bad because he really deserved to start.
 
well, at least Gus will be on a short leash... we'll likely see Sage soon enough after Gus throws a a few 10-yard dump passes far over the receiver's head...
 
Like i get we all want Sage but Gus did just as a good as Sage except he had no blocking and Chambers, gilmore and mcmike couldnt catch the ball.

But it seems liek our Offense has a spark w/ sage for some reason.

they still dropped the passes with Sage in their as well.

The only difference is that Sage didn't make erratic throws. His was always on target.

With Gus his WR will drop a pass then he will throw a pass 10 yards off target.

That's the difference.

Like I stated earlier in the season. Whether it is complete, intercepted or whatever his WR'S almost always have a chance to atleast make a play on the ball when Sage throws.

When Frerotte throws that is a whole different story.
 
With Gus starting, i'm glad I'm getting other games on Sunday Ticket so i don't have to watch meaningless football that is gonna make me puke.
 
well, how about not playing as bad as you can possibly play against cleveland, who is 4 and 9? ya, he brought us back, so did aj feeley against the patriots last year. so what? they were in a prevent defense and were givivng up a lot of short passes. sage time and time again throws picks that an nfl qb does not throw. he was given an opportunity in cleveland, and he was horrible.
if we lose today the pats clinch the division, there is no hope for a wildcard. we should see what cleo lemon is all about
 
I think what has transpired here is wanny shaved his moustache and he is disguised as saban and that is why sage isnt starting.
 
how about we trade Sage to New England real quick....THEY can start him and make all of you Sage lovers happy, and maybe he'll contribute to some LOSSES and will actually HELP us.
 
It is disgusting on Saban's part that Frerotte is starting this game. Does this man actually believe we would've came back last week if Gus didn't get KO'ed? Not a chance in hell.

I am not praising Sage, I just see a young QB who brought us back from nowhere last week and deserves a shot with 4 games to go.
 
I'm neither pro or anti Sage, Gus, or whoever. However, Saban has been evaluating many these players for 10 months. I believe Sage will likely get another chance to start at some point. It just wasn't today.
