I don't think it matters. Usually a conditional pick means that what we got is the lowest it could be. If he would have met certain conditions, it could have moved up to a higher round.

What it means is that it will be a 7th rounder, we just lost out on it moving up to possibly a 6th rounder.

The Saints acquired Chatman in a trade with Miami last month after Deuce McAllister was injured, but they will not have to surrender the seventh-round pick in the deal because Chatman didn't rush for at least 300 yards. In fact, Chatman never carried the ball for New Orleans.

haha, i bet they just traded for him because they thought he can give them a view into the dolphins playbook or practice. Once we played them they had no use so they released him. Conspiracy yes, but still probably true.
