Saints prove to be momentum shifters

Lost in the great season by the Saints is the fact of what happens to the team the Saints beat down afterwords.

Consider the following

Buffalo 1-1, Loss to Saints starts 3 game skid
Jets 3-0, Loss to Saints starts 3 game skid
Giants 5-0, Loss to Saints starts 4 game skid
Falcons 4-2, Loss to Saints starts a 1-3 skid
Panthers 3-4, Loss to Saints starts a 1-3 skid
Patriots 7-3, Loss to Saints starts ???????

We are one of the only teams to suffer a defeat to the Saints and then play well afterwords (3-1)

It seems the beatdowns have more of an effect than just one loss.
Lets hope this trend continues and the Patriots go into a funk like the other 5 teams.

Here's a graphic of a spreadsheet I've been keeping about this, just for fun. (I can't post links or pictures yet :( )

The numbers are the teams' point differentials, the gold cells represent games against the Saints.

Green/Red dots obviously mean Win/Loss.

I'm gonna throw alittle wrench in that....

Buffalo - sucks
NYJ - sucks
NYG played terrible teams up to that point outside of Dallas and had inflated numbers because of it
Atlanta has had M.Ryan and M.Turner injured
Carolina - sucks
NE - we will see, they don't suck but their also not that great either.

This is correct. It's still fun to pretend, though ;)

Love the Phins...but prepare for the wrath of Brady and Co Sunday....I'd love to see a win, but come on man!

Food for thought...The Patsies haven't lost back to back games since mid 2006.
Those receivers against our secondary and inconsistent pass rush = nightmare. :(
