Saints Release Derrick Rodgers...

I'd said no.. we have plenty of depth at LB and Rodgers is VERY average. He's not a big Saban type of player and has zero playmaking ability.
 
i would say no

not with a bad back. to return to flag football maybe, but having surgery to repair a herniated disc and return to pro ball.....its a very long shot
 
Nope. Weve got Spragan and Crowder. Look forward not back.
 
Why in the world would we need Derrick Rodgers??

I can't think of one LB on our team right now that is not better than Rodgers. (I mean those who have a chance to play, not the scrubs.)
 
I would pass.... I am content with our LB'ing core the way it is now. Until something better comes along, I say that we should stick with what we have.
 
As an undersized linebacker, he just doesn't fit on this team. He's closer to playing safety on this team than he is linebacker.
 
hes was ok for us when he played here last i suppose. but, no.
 
When you can't catch on with the Saints as a LB, it's time to consider filing the retirement papers. That's a pretty sad unit.

I'd welcome signing him...to a one day contract if he wants to retire a Dolphin.
 
Dont we have like 400 LB's? It would be pointless, we have song great young talent and we have some very good starting talent, Rogers isn't good enough to waste a roster spot on. I'd much rather look for someone in the secondary at the Corner or Safety spots if we were to sign anyone.
