Salguero: Jags Interested in Trading for JT?

Within the conference? I dont know if thats such a good idea. Again, I would only trade JT for an offer we just cant refuse, like a 2nd and 3rd, or even a 1st. Otherwise, he is more valuable to us. He is still our best player.
 
It would be a great landing spot for Jason. Plus, when he goes on DWTS he'll be introduced as Jacksonville Jaguars DE Jason Taylor, instead of Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor.

Within the conference is not a huge deal. Within the division would be. Of course it would only be if the price is right.

yea only division would matter to us because conference only matters i we were talking seriously about playoffs. otherways we would me eliminating half the teams in the league from a trade for no reason.
 
Says the Bills fan who would LOVE to not have to play JT twice a year :)

I think you guys should trade Lee Evans. Come on, he is too small to be an every down WR; take a 3rd and run. :)
 
Think about it, Taylor only has a few years left in the tank, and Miami is undergoing a total rebuild right now. If we could add a couple of extra draft picks for Taylor, that would go a long way in helping our rebuilding process get underway. Sounds like a great idea to me....

Im just saying it depends on the compensation. I would expect at least a 2nd for JT. A 3rd? I pass.

Actually I do not worry about JT as much anymore as I used too. I seen Peters control him enough to say We either have a very good LT or JT skills are dimished. And in all seriousness it is a combination of both.

Ferguson was even able to control him.
 
Please! He was defensive player of the year just a year ago. Skills diminished? Your full of it.

Diminished from when? When he was Defensive POY? Or last year?
 
I've always wanted to keep the best players..and since we dont' have alot....I'd like to at least keep the best one we have. The draft is still a crapshoot... Sure Chris Chambers was a great 2nd round pick...but we also got Beck in the second round and I think Matt Roth was a 3rd round pick? Neither have been too special so far.
With free agency and more draft picks this year....I don't see the urgency of trading Jason Taylor.
It would be nice to see him retire as a Miami Dolphin...unfortunate that it didn't happen with Zach Thomas, but I hope it at least happens with Taylor.
