Sad that this has to be explained.
 
In other words Ross was unprepared. That seems to be the status quo for the organization.
 
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross had never expected Monday would be about possibly firing general manager Jeff Ireland or head coach Joe Philbin and so he wasn't prepared to do either.

Sounds like an owner who had faith in his people and they let him down. I truly believe he's going to clean house and hire someone to take over the team. Bill polian come on down!
 
Incredible that he didnt even consider the possibility that this team would fall short. Simply incredible.

You know, people on here love to slam other posters by calling them "armchair GM's" and some of us have pointed out that members of this forum have proven to be more consistently accurate then the people running this franchise. Anyone have any doubts about that now? Even if we didnt think it would happen, the vast majority of the people who post on this forum at least considered we might fall apart at the end. Didnt even occur to our bloody owner. Incredible.
 
Ive been screaming this for so long... Ross is a fuking idiot, and nothing will change until hes gone
 
Ross is then in a tough spot with the people he had faith in.

He knows he has to a make a change or masses of fans will begin completely neglecting the team.

He can't just fire Ireland and keep Philibin. If he does keep Philibin, the G.M. hire would have to be internal which fans still won't like.

His only solutions are to bite the bullet, keep status quo and pray it flips his way. Or totally clean house with an entirely new plan he was too stupid not have thought of already.

Ross has had nothing but conniving yes men in his ear. He has got to wise up or we are screwed until he sells the team.

So, come up with a few names from Finheaven and submit their names to Ross for consideration for the GM position. Lol. You happen to guess right and now some posters are proven to be more consistent?lol. Data please. Someones guess is always right dude. Get off the high horse.

Quite a few knowledgable posters on here are right quite often it seems. You joined our site in March of thus year, get off YOUR high horse.
