Salguero: Today's 2 minute drill shows promise and problems

All you can do as a QB is get the guy the ball. I don't have my hopes tied to R. Wallace, but I do have my hopes tied to Tannehill. I'll take this as encouraging.

Could be kind of a glimpse of things to expect this year. Tannehill able to move the ball up and down the field but having trouble punching it in the end zone because his skill units are letting him down.

Clay and Fasano are going to have to really step up in the red zone this year

Sounds like last year.

Do we just have bad luck with WR or just really crappy WR coaches?

WR coach has nothing to do with guys dropping TD passes. Them not being in position or not getting open is one thing but the coach doesnt catch the ball.

Yep, I supposed R.Wallace drop in the endzone during the TampaBay game is indicative of what your saying.

In the huddle, RT should pass out a bottle of crazy glue to every WR not names Bess, that should do the trick

the good thing is he's used to being let down by his skill position players...given what he dealt with at a & m

We've never really tried to go out and grab a game breaker WR...wait...except Ginn.
Well the perception after 2008 was we were one big play making WR away from making a deep run in the playoffs. So we traded for Brandon Marshall...and then missed the playoffs the next two years.

I hope Ireland puts WR a little higher on the priorities list for the next draft. Was really hoping we'd take Chris Givens or Marvin Jones in the draft but it's over now and need to move on.
