salsbury is rating the popular teams fans

put the Bears #5 and I would agree with his list

We're probably the 3rd fanbase. California has Dolphin fans galore, especially around San Diego and Orange County. We were probably the biggest at one time, but I guess some fans don't have enough Dolphin in em. Regardless I think tommorow the Dolphins are gonna rip the living crap out of the Bears.

on the radio right now concellious and salsbury anr ranking the most popular teams or who has the most fans nationwide.
dallas cowboys #1
oakland raiders #2
pittsburg steelers #3
miami dolphins #4

so this is a fair ranking in my mind what do you guys think ? anyways we nned to work on the fan base some at the home games and i am doing my part i am training my five young nephews to be dolphin fans.

Chokeland hasn't sold out a home game for God only knows how long.they're blacked out every week unless they're on the road.they have the biggest bunch of fickle fans Ive ever seen.their fan base is pathetic.I think some people buy their gear because of the gang affiliation and it makes them look hard core.personally,I think they look like losers.

I remember the SD-Miami Monday Night game that got moved to Arizona and Al Michaels and John Madden were shocked at the amount of Dolphin fans there.

A few years ago (while Marino was still playing) I went to a Monday night Colts/Dolphins game at the Hoosier Dome. I couldnt believe how many people were wearing Dolphins gear. When I got home and played back the tape, Al and Dan (dierdorf) commented on the same thing. They then panned the camera and it was even more impressive than I had thought. It looked like at least half of the fans were wearing aqua/orange....in the Colts own house.

I'm not. He's talking about most nationwide fans. Now if he was talking about the best fans or most loyal fans, Green Bay would be right up there at the top of the list. I've honestly never met a Packers fan in my life, and i've lived in 4 different states.
It depends on what you call I fan. I think most people either like the Packers, or like the Raiders (a good vs evil battle if you will). Not that they are diehard fans, but have a soft spot for them.

I go to school in arizona, and i have never seen so many pitt fans... the sportsbar i go to is full of em every sunday.

im steady recruiting ex-finfans people all say that "i used to be a fin fan they started to suck.." go figure front runners

i absolutely hate when people say that about any team in any sport, complete bandwagoners i think

Theres a lot of Eagle fans around where i live

I think it's hard to call the Steelers/Dolphins matchup. I agree with the first two, and I think it really comes down to whether a really strong regional fanbase plus a nice nationwide fanbase is better than a regional fanbase that is somewhat lacking plus a strong nationwide fanbase.

I think the Redskins merit a mention in the 5 or maybe 6 slot. They have had a terrible decade but still sell out all the home games and have fans everywhere there are Cowboys fans.
