all of these players have been cut ...sam or monty could fill that rolb position, antwan could mayb give us a good backup (saban probly wants to c who else is out there) ,and eric may b good for the saftey position but he kinda ify..wat do u guys think?????

Sam Cowart certainly grabs my attention.......

There must be something wrong to release these players, Because the PATS are hurting at LB to release them, we DO NOT need them

Let's trade the Patties for Seau  I don't get it?

A few decent players won't survive the next round of cuts. A quality backup or two might be found then. I'm hoping for a backup center.

The one guy I liked on the PATS cut list was DE/LB Jeremy Mincey. I considered him to be a decent 2nd tier prospect who had potential as a outside LB rushing specialist out of the JACK position. I wonder why he wasn't kept. Its too bad we don't have room to develop him. I haven't watched any PATS games (why would I). Has anyone seen him play this preseason?

Lets wait until tommorrow before we go crazy about picking ppl up

yeah, I agree that waiting is the best option. These guys were dropped too quickly. There must be a reason. I too was grabbed by the names, but there has to be a reason for it.

id love sam cowart, still looking to see what jamie sharper does

Sam Cowart could make a good contribution to the defense. He's had some experience in the 3-4 and could make a good rush LB. I doubt that we get him or take a look at any of the players that were fore mentioned.

Me too. How old is he?

He has a prescription for GERITOL! One A Day Plus Iron!

If our LB situation is this bad, forget about the playoffs!

Sam Cowart certainly deserves consideration if healthy. He could provide some veteran help at LB. Even though our biggest gaps are at backup RB, CB, and OG/C, you can't pass up a chance to add quality talent anywhere else. Plus, he might be extra motivated against the Bills and Jets.
