I will admit that I am extremely biased here. I just thought I would report on Keller so far for those that are interested. With 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter:

20-29, 412 yds, 69%, 14.2 y/a, 0 sacks, 4 TDs, 0 INT

Yes its against Northwestern, but his numbers weren't that much different against LSU last week. This is out of an offense that is more pro-style than most. I don't like his throwing mechanics that much, but I still don't feel that is as big an issue as some. My biggest complaint is his dropback, because a lot of the time he has to spin to get his throwing arm back. Its kinda weird. Anyone else notice that? I am not saying we should draft him. Its far to early for that. Just having fun watching him play, as I am an ASU fan/student.

This guys is THE real deal!!! I WISH to hell we do whatever possible to get him!

Anything is possible. I certainly wouldn't be upset with the pick. They have already put the backups in. And I was wrong in my previous post, it was the beginning of the 3rd. Its now 12 minutes left in the 3rd. He put those numbers up in the first half. They will probably put 1st team back in though because Northwestern just scored again. 24 points isn't comfortable enough for me.

Hopefully Koetter will take Keller aside next spring & have him work on his delivery.

get on the bandwagon guys :D

Even though I am a diehard ASU fan, I am not yet convinced that he is not the product of a VERY effective offensive system. I don't believe his throwing mechanics are as bad as some that are already in the league.

Gonzo, you left out that these stats tonight were through 3 qtrs he sat the 4th. I like his decision making. he has excellent field vision. He is the real deal. He is only a JR. but if he came out early we could get him. I think we will be picking in the late teens or later next year. so if he came out we could get him. If not mabey the next year. he would fit our OC's offense perfect. He pretty much threw the whole game against LSU. Saban had to have noticed him against LSU.

Read my second post ;) . He actually only played one drive (for a TD) in the third before sitting, so most are from the 1st half alone  . By the way, ASU set a school record with 773 yards total offense. :D

we will see how good he is in 2 weeks.

Looking forward to it! I can only imagine how Tempe will be if they win. Actually, if they do, I will see. Whether I remember the next day or not is another story.
