I think the DOlphins need to go after one of these vets, U cant trust 2 rookies as your starters, What do u think?

The Saints cut MeKenzie because he is slow.....don't go there. As a side point, all the Saints fans were screaming for Payton to sign Derrick Brooks at LB this year. The Saints decided to groom younger talent on the squad, namely LB Evans. Turns out to be a smart move as Evans is stepping up....Brooks is still at home. Maybe your coaching staff is very informed and feels the best option is on the field today. It's hard to build chemistry bringing new players in at this time of the year.
 
we have a hole in the secondary now with will allen
being out.

starter or not, we need to fill that that hole with a player
so signing a vet or raiding another practice squad for a
promising db needs to be done.

I think the rookies will be fine... our bigger problem is Wilson! Cut your losses with him and go after a couple of D backs for the Nickle pkg!
 
I dont see why it would hurt to bring back Surtain for experience .

Vontae Davis is better than any vet/practice squad player that could be signed.
