living in northern Cali I get to see a lot of Raider football "lucky me "
As im watching this 1st quarter vs the cowboys I see him do fairly well in pass protection, but constantly miss on his run blocking. Also as im sure we all remember he always gets himself in perfect position on screen plays, but fails to hit anyone and just gets in the way of the RB. He was solid for us but im happy we made the choice we did.

Samson was picked for the west coast offense not the power ball we are going to now.

He was one of our better picks he just does not fit our scheme now.

The guy was tought as nails, worked hard and gave his all on the field for us so I hope he really works out with any team he ends up with.

That would make two of us. It won't take much for Grove to be an upgrade in the running game.

I'm also Left Coast & curious how Satele will do with the Raiders, have to watch in delay tonight.

Man do I hope the Phins can pound the rock this year!! Sparano said he's going to play the O-line most the game Monday, so we'll get a little look-see.

Hey cafinfan408, where do you watch Dolphins games on Sundays?
I live in Santa Clara & a few of us go to Britannia Arms Cupertino. Hard to find Dolphin fans in our area & decent sports bars.

Last year I got the ticket and did it at home..
Im feelin pretty broke right now ( im taking donations)
so I might have to bar it up again this year.
The brit in downtown SJ is nice
there is a lil sportsbar across from gordon biersch that is normally okay.
I might have to check out the Brit in Cupertino this year

I'm going to miss Satele because of how good the guy is on screens. Every big play we had on a screen or in space he's always the 1st one out there.

Grove is pretty good at getting to the second level.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this!! He did this several times. Everyone was calling this guy a stud and he would just go out there on screens and "act" as if he wanted to block someone but he would not touch a soul.

He looked like one of the kids on your high school team that was trying to fool the coaches.

Samson was never a bad player. Just happened to be a piece that didnt fit the new jigsaw here. I wish him well as a Raider.
