Every tiem I watch these two I get sick to my stomach

It seems as if every outside run today Knight or Surtain is right there making the stop.

Every Pass Play Surtain shuts down the WR and Sammy tips the ball away or is part of the play.

We should have kept Knight at least. It just seems as if Jones and Schulters now Tillman and Schulters just arent up to par from Marion and Knight who we had 2 years ago.

And honestly did we save any money by signing Jones (who is on IR) over Knight?

well the way i see it...we have around 20 + mill for next year to spend..so i think we did okay

I agree. I was so mad when we got rid of those guys. We had the best pass defence in the league 2 years ago. Now we can't even stop the Cleveland passing game. :shakeno:

I think Saban should of got rid of Madison and kept Surtain but he knew he would get a better draft pick if he traded Surtain and I think Surtain might lose a step in a year or 2 and I am getting the feeling he does not like to overpay people.

Get with it guys. How do you think those players will be doing 2 years from now when K.C. is paying them a buttload of money or taking a cap hit while Miami will have a young and up and coming secondary by then.

I don't get why we kept Madison over Surtain. Surtains salary was not that far away from Madisons and as far as ability Surtain far surpasses Madison. What has Madison done without him. He is dropping interceptions and everything.

Madison restructured last year. Cutting him wouldn't have saved any money and would have counted for far greater then Surtains. Plus Surtain's cap number was up around $8 million. That would have handicapped some moves.

Remember people you don't sign aging stars to huge contracts. K.C. 'will' regret that move in a couple years.

Surtain is an elite player, but was commanding elite money... Knight? Solid tackler, savy in coverage... but I'm sorry, his range has become extremely limited and he got exposed badly a lot last year and the year before...

Just get over it man... seriously..... we are rebuilding not re-loading...jump old salaries and work on building this team...

surtain i wish we kept... sammy knight was a liability in coverage way too slow.
