DAVIE -- Dolphins running back Sammy Morris returned to practice Wednesday after serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's steroid policy.
Morris, also a core special-teams player, could play Sunday against New England.
"Sammy came back [Wednesday] and did a good job," said Dolphins coach Nick Saban. "He had to work on his own, but we're pleased that he seems to be in pretty good shape. He is obviously a guy that knows the offense. He's been here with us all through camp, so it's not like he's a new player."
Morris said he stayed in shape by working out with former Dolphin Terry Kirby, and that he'll be ready come Sunday.
