San Diego Getting Rid Of Rivers Perhaps???

For them to get Feeley can it mean something, i know it cannot be done a release or trade but they have Brees and Rivers and now Feeley!!! I say Brees is the starter next year and Feeley 2nd string and perhaps Rivers a Fish!!!:)

Yeah, makes sense but I doubt we will get him. Sound weird to get both their 2nd and 3rd string qbs.
 
i don't see them keeping all 3 because that would consume too much cap space they'll probably let feely go and pick up a new 3rd stringer, they got a free 7th out of it
 
i believe that this trade means that rivers is gone.

they got a proven backup for brees

i dont think rivers will be a fin, though.

where u think he will end up we desperately need a qb a young blood
 
We would be doing our selves a great service if we can pull of getting Rivers. I watched him at NC State and the guy is a winner.
 
San Diego is a very good team with a brutal schedule, I think they miss out on the playoffs and Brees is franchised again, but then traded. I think Miami will be one of the teams that will be interested along with Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Houston, Detroit, just to name a few. I don't even know if Feeley will make the Chargers roster next year, but I think the trade has no effect on the Brees/Rivers situation.

Rivers has to be a phin i want him not brees he will only get older
 
I'd love that but how? They don't need Ricky Williams...are we going to give up a 1st round pick or Zach Thomas, Sam Madison or something? Saban don't like to give away draft picks like that.

get rid of madison for a 2nd, Rick Williams 2nd Reggie howrad 7th, release Mc dougle, Spragan, Seau retires, GEt rid of Tebucky Jones

Add free agents

LB- Julian Peterson
Cb - NAte Clemets
T- Anthony Clement
FS- Mike BRown

trade for Qb Rivers A 2nd would be good

and our team can be set for years to come and we neeed to have a good draft again

It'll cost atleast a 1st rd pick to get Rivers. If Rivers is traded I think it will be very close to the NFL draft, or as soon as a team knows that it has no realistic shot at Matt Leinart.

Clements will be franchised, I think Peterson will be also, so that takes them out of consideration. I don't think AJ Smith would trade Rivers for a 2nd rd pick, and really if they wanted San Diego could keep Rivers and Brees again next season, I believe they are projected at 16 million under the cap.
