yea i really think we should have given him a chance and gotten him.

why not trade Feeley for Fonoti and then just pick up someone else to play 3rd string QB??? Couch/Davey???

they just gave us a 7th in the feeley trade. How are they gathering picks when they are sending them away, i am confused?

Not according to the front page.. says WE got a 7th from San Diego

Yes, Palm BEach Post says:
"Dolphins quarterback A.J. Feeley was traded Tuesday for San Diego Chargers third-string quarterback Cleo Lemon and a seventh-round draft pick, Lemon's agent, John Rickert, told The Post."
But I read the opposite soemwhere else a while ago. Hmmmm...

Oh here it is, the Sun Sentinel:
"The Dolphins have traded A.J. Feeley to San Diego for fellow third-string quarterback Cleo Lemon. The NFL's web site said the Dolphins also sent the Chargers what is believed a seventh-round draft choice as part of the trade."

Anyone know more?

NFL.com says we gave the chargers a 7th...

"The Chargers took third-string quarterback A.J. Feeley off Miami's hands and gave up on guard Toniu Fonoti in separate deals before the NFL trading deadline.

The Chargers picked up two draft picks in the process. Besides getting Feeley, the Chargers also got a sixth-round pick in 2006 from Miami for third-string quarterback Cleo Lemon, who never has taken a regular-season snap."

Actually, what you just quoted states a 6th rounder.
If that is true it's a rediculous trade.
