Thats all we heard last year, He wasn't healthy and our season went to Hell. Now most people want him out of here. After the Green trade all we hear is he's here to help Beck, he to old, he's a buddy of coach Cam. Sometimes I wonder why I read half of these threads. Oh I forgot Saban is a God no Bum. Cam is now God. Give it a break people. I hope our front office gets lucky this time, The fans deserve it

we all have to wait and see.....im not carrying an opinion anymore im just going to start praying some more

It is funny how fast people on here do jump from one bandwagon to another. I do think that it is funny that C Pep get cleared the same day as the trade is closed. I do not give a rats *** who is our starting QB as long as our D do not have to be on the field 80% of the game and we win. So welcome Trent but I am not going to be running out to buy any gear with his last name on it anytime soon.

at this point ive came to the realization that whats going to happen is going to happen and we are just going to have to wait and see how everything turns out and hopefully it will all be for the best. as fans we deserve it more than any other team i can think of and to be let down year after year really makes us realize more how meaningless offseason predictions are and that nothing is going to matter until the season starts. its about time this team brings it and shows up on sundays and gets some respect

Well put. I don't believe we have to worry about the T. Green jersey being a best seller. While he is not the best QB in the NFL, the bottom line is that he will probably be at least as good as Culpepper and I have to believe (and this is extremely important) that he will make fewer mistakes in crucial situations. All we need for him to do is just move the chains like Bob Griese used to do. Our defense will take care of the rest. I am a lot more optimistic about this year's team than last year. I think we can actually compete and that is a good place to start building.

Cam's going to need to be a football god this year to beat teams like the Patriots this year. After winning 3 Super Bowls this decade, Belichick looks a bit god-like ... maybe he's channeling Vince Lombardi or something. :D

Our DBs are going to have a helluva time dealing with Stallworth, Moss and Welker. I think Brady could burn us good with just Welker! Wes was our top receiver last year. We gotta fight fire with fire somehow or another. The Jets are better. The Bills might even come out of nowhere and be pretty good. Cam definitely has a full plate. He'll be challenged as a coach this year. No doubt. Cam better roll out the big guns on offense and be ready for anything this year. Hopefully, he calls plays as well as Gen. Patton used to command tank divisions in WWII ... hopefully, Dom Capers will have us well fortified with our defense like Gen. Bradley. :chuckle:
:tank:

i have never liked culpepper even when he was in miami he is never going to be the same as he was in 2004

i agree lets just see what happens and enjoy the season as much as possible hopefully trent will just lead us down the field and score i guess thats all that really matters you know our d ell be good as usual rippin it

Go DOlPhins!!!!!!!!!!!

Something tells me The Dolphins will regret trading CulPepper

Cameron did not bring Culpepper...Culpepper is not in Cameron's future plans... Beck is...

Just like Herm Edwards did not bring Green...Green is not in Herm's future plans... Brodie Croyle is...

No matter what the outcome Cam has the guy he wants just as well as Herm...

Both of these coaches feel that even though they might not win many games this year they have the leader they want leading their teams. They are both tied to their respective franchise QBs and that decision will have an impact in their future...

kinda like they didn't want "the public" to see him healthy so they could blame it on past injuries. I understand it's a lingering injury but why not let the guy play and see what he has, maybe his trade value goes up but then if he got hurt again in OTA's they would be out a lot of dough. They made their choice and so it goes.

So what if our QB is too old and slow and punchdrunk still from last years hit. It's kinda funny/sad cause even with all those neagtive he should be better than anything we lined up at QB since Marino.
