I was at the Packers game...come down from NJ to see that....BUT what bugged me... is my group was at Dolphins camp on Sat nite to go to the Pro shop and look around and we see a player pull up and run in for his Playbook!
I said you forgot your Playbook?....He says Ya...I say...I think your going to catch hell for that...???.....He just shrugs it and goes....
THEY DON`T CARE enough the NITE before the GAME to have the Playbook!>?!>!>!>!>!>!>!>!>.....
I am really disappointed in Nick Saban ALOT this Year....I expected alot Better then this and when Mularkey has Joey throw 62 times and still have his job is Beyond....Disappointment......

Bad Job this Time Nick......REAL Bad....

No worries...But yeah, Saban is having a stinker this season, its horrible and then you tell me this...makes me hate him even more...

Who cares?? These guys are humans too. Have you ever forgotten something you needed for work? Of course you have. It doesn't matter what line of work you're in, it doesn't make you above being a human being.

IT shows they are NOT Focused or PREPARED!

They lack the Desire and Focus was what I was trying to say....

Forgetting his playbook? You think that shows a lack of desire or focus. Man I would hate to have you as my boss. I went to the store to buy something and left my folder on the counter. I went back and got it. It is not from a lack of focus, so much as I had alot on my mind at that particular time. This is a ridiculous thread and I have no idea why I even responded. But to sit and judge someone from 1 incident is very unfair. You do not know why he forgot it, or what is going in his head or his personal life.

What-ever....at 1-6...

What-ever.....1-6 who cares Right?

the point i got was the player saying it didnt matter, the night before a game, nobody cares.....

yeah, anyone cam make a goof like that, but to me the telling thing
of it all is wht he said about the attitude in finz land.

cant tell what wayne h. is thinking hiding out like he is.

i know if were 6-1 right now he would be dancing in his box
and all over the media and a mouth full of nick!

but he is not. his silence is almost eery! you know he is pizzed and
humiliated. once again, burned on a recomended coach. so the question
is, do we not hear from him because he has every intention of keeping
nick around for some time and doesnt want to hear the fans and media
disgust at sabans miserable failure of 2006, or......

did he actually learn from the wanny situation about keeping lame
duck coaches around to long, killing the team even worse and he
plans to crap can him at seasons end and just doesnt want to
have to answer any of those types of questions?

i am betting #1. wayne is STILL buying in to the genious hype of
nick and is just dodging the fans and media.

that will be a shame and the end of this franchise for years to
come.

I feel your pain!

Hey, at least he noticed he didn't have it. Could be worse.

He forgot his playbook. What did you want him to do...jump off of the building?

FWIW, if he really needed to do some in depth studying of the playbook the night before the game, that would be even worse in my eyes than forgetting the playbook. I would hope that he knows the plays reasonably well less than 24 hours before kickoff.

So, the reason why he was nonchalant about forgetting the playbook is because he knew it was no big deal. I doubt the lost 45 minutes or so would have made a difference.

i think this story maybe a bit out of bounds one not idenified player forgets a book this is sabans problem NOT! im sorry this whole story is out of line .

forgetting a playbook doesn't lose games, perhaps forgetting what is inside the playbook is a bigger problem.

Also, the coaching staff probably doesn't care as much, becuase the game is 24 hours away, and they have other things to do.
