satele to Cincy trade?

I like this rumor of sending Samson and our 3rd or 4rh to Cincy for their second so that we can target Alex Mack. We need a big guy who can open up the middle of our field for Ronnie and CJ Spiller with our 44th pick. I am one of the few who would like to use our first pick on Connor Barwin or Clint Stintim or Alex Mack? What do u think? Can we post a thread on this bc I'd love to dump Samson for a high second rounder!

who said this is a rumor going around? link? and uh satele and a 3rd for a 2nd? no thanks. satele for a 2nd or a 3rd sure but not giving away any picks esp for a good center jsut not one that fits our style.
 
lmfao. Satele was drafted as a pass blocker and is all he's good at. Stat: we rushed up the middle VS the East only 28 times for 76 yards. On the season we were a 3YPC average. That won't cut it as a power running team! He's a liability in Parcels run offense and our reserves showed that they can do a good job filling in when needed. Will they need someone to get them their Gatorade? We won't get a 2 or 3 for him so he will probably have to be packaged with a pick to get a higher pick. We don't lose a pick we just lose him. If we can't get Jason Brown in FA then we can use this pick on Alex Mack. It would give us a lot of options with 3 picks in top 44.
 
"not one that fits our style?". He's the antithesis to out style! Parcels will redo the line so that it fits his style completely. We didn't draft Long over Clady to be a passing team. We didn't bring in Smiley to be a passing team. He wants a "smash mouth" running team and wimpy Satele is far from that. He wasn't strong enough in run blocking vs the bigger DT's in college and he is man handled by them in the NFL. U forget? He played for Hawaii. What do they run the 4 times a year there?
 
Satale is at his best when he is out in space (screens, reverses, sweeps), thing is we can't be pulling our C that much.

I'd like Mack, but I don't want to give up Satale AND a pick to get him

how about Satele AND Beck to whatever team/s that runs a zone blocking scheme for a 2nd&6th or 2nd&7th? thoughts on that one guys...i'm not saying Satele&Beck plus another pick,i'm saying those 2 players for picks...

Bad trade . . . Like someone else said I rather get Satele for a third then Satele and a third for a second.

We got Langford in the third last year and Merling in the second . . . now I like both but Langford had the better rookie season . . . so 2nd or 3rd doesn't really matter, its the amount of picks. Remember we have excellent talent evaluators running this thing.

The fact that you said we are targeting a specific player one week after our season ended gives you or this so-called rumor zero credibility.

And he has us with CJ Spiller lol . . . this is a self based rumor, thats all.

I know...since Spiller has yet to declare. Plus with Williams and Cobbs signed for next year, it would be highly unlikely that we draft a running back on the first day, especially with our OL needed some much needed bodies.
