Saturday I was checking out at the grocery store, the 60-ish woman at the register looked at my hat and said "Dolphins fan huh?, well they aren't going to the Super Bowl". I just responded that I don't pretend that they are, I just like the direction the team is headed. She just said "we'll see". I tole my buddy, $100 bucks says she is a Pats fan. So Sunday I'm in the store and there she is again in her Brady jersey......I figured I would hold my tongue until the Patsies are eliminated, and then go through her line and listen to the excuses!
