Highlights:

The team's 11-on-11 drills on Saturday afternoon further magnified Miami's dicey quarterback situation, with passes from Lemon repeatedly off the mark. He missed on six of his eight throws and tossed two interceptions.
The offense didn't score one time...Lemon held the ball too long and looked sharp on only one throw...

Alabi allowed sacks to Taylor and back-up Akbar Gbaja-Biamila. Holliday blew past Toledo one time as if he was stuck in cement.

Starting CB Will Allen looked good all day. Back-up Michael Lehan, primarily a special teams player, had a nice afternoon highlighted by an interception.
Starting S Renaldo Hill had two interceptions.

I dont worry so much about Alabi getting beat by JT as he will do that to quite a few LT's.... Akbar Gbaja-Biamila is another story though. I guess the good news for our young guys on the line is that they are going to get to practice against some very good D line talent on a day to day basis. If Alibi and Toledo ever get where they can hang with JT and Holliday than they will fair pretty well against the rest of the league.

It's clear to me that dolphins need to get offensive in the draft. 3 picks used on OL is a must this year

I tell you I think I am one of the few that didn't give up totally on Manny after he quite last year... The dude has an ample amount of raw talent and there just aren't many things a guy his age can do that bring in the kind of cash that playing in the NFL does. I figured he would be back sooner or later, I just hope he has himself straightened out enough to stick around this time, my guess is that he will now that Saban is gone.

When a DT gets a pick you know the QB isn't having a good day.

as most people see the glass half empty, i see it the other way, half full.
i always find at the begining of the year the D is always ahead of the O

Winds that gusted upwards of 20 mph and shaky offensive line play didn't help. Still, Lemon held the ball too long and looked sharp on only one throw - a sideline pass in between defenders to Az-Zahir Hakim

Keep an eye on RB Patrick Cobbs.
The Dolphins signed the free agent last December and need a player who can handle the role of special teams player/emergency RB left by the departure to St. Louis of Travis Minor.
You might remember the 5-foot-8, 210-pound Cobbs led the nation in rushing in 2003 (152.7 ypg) at North Texas. He also the Patriots in rushing during the 2006 pre-season with 188 yards and three touchdowns on 38 attempts.
As you say we have along way to go, but theres thoes bright spots!!

It sounds like the defense did very well or the offense is just that bad.

:rolleyes2 It must be remembered it's hard to keep the defense out when your not blocking for real...

Wow... The Miami Dolphins defense was 31st in the NFL with 8 interceptions total for the entire 2006 season and it sounds like they almost got that many in this mini camp session.
