John Beck looks a lot more comfortable today. His passes are more confident. Some of his inaccuracy today seem to be a result of just not knowing the routes and the receivers. I'll say this, his mechanics are very nice and compact. I can see what Cam Cameron told him about how he'll need to work on releasing the ball a little higher, but Beck has very good feet, which gives him great balance. Crisp release.
It took all of one day for Beck to overtake Gibran Hamdan for second on the depth chart. Beck is working behind the line of LT Joe Toledo, LG Samson Satele, C Johnathan Ingram, RG Tala Esera and RT Mike Rosenthal.
The first-team line is also the same: LT Vernon Carey, LG Chris Liwienski, C Rex Hadnot, RG Dan Stevenson, RT L.J. Shelton.
Beck just hooked up with a perfectly-placed 40-yard bomb to Michael Malone over the top of Tuff Harris.
