saturday morning practice

ok... mr. anti-beck! nice... I dont get why but whatever you'll always have those who dont like him and those who do so w/e

John Beck looks a lot more comfortable today. His passes are more confident. Some of his inaccuracy today seem to be a result of just not knowing the routes and the receivers. I'll say this, his mechanics are very nice and compact. I can see what Cam Cameron told him about how he'll need to work on releasing the ball a little higher, but Beck has very good feet, which gives him great balance. Crisp release.

It took all of one day for Beck to overtake Gibran Hamdan for second on the depth chart. Beck is working behind the line of LT Joe Toledo, LG Samson Satele, C Johnathan Ingram, RG Tala Esera and RT Mike Rosenthal.

The first-team line is also the same: LT Vernon Carey, LG Chris Liwienski, C Rex Hadnot, RG Dan Stevenson, RT L.J. Shelton.

Beck just hooked up with a perfectly-placed 40-yard bomb to Michael Malone over the top of Tuff Harris.

progressing very quickly i like

yup.... definately very excited to see that. I think the only thing he needs is just time really... and time to adapt to the speed of the nfl but he's on a great pace

Nice to hear the Oline is playing like its usual bad self. Whoever is at QB this year is going to take a pounding.

It looked like the 2nd team offense againt the first team defense . . . is when the line struggled . . . I mean that is to be expected, plus its just minicamp. I'll reserve judgement when i see them in the preseason.

Good to hear Pep starting to work out harder than the last minicamp . . . he may be a pleasant suprise for us fans come TC.

Did Ronnie brown fix himself some eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, and cool-aid this morning on the practice field? Or, did he simply go in on 4 large pepperoni pizzas for him and CPep to eat by themselves?

The rookie Free Agent Cornerback Geoffrey Pope has looked impressive so far in camp. He's been tested going deep and staying right on the hip of every receiver so far and when the receiver cuts it off short he close by or knocking the ball away.
