Saturday's Practice Canceled

The Miami Dolphins have cancelled their scheduled practice for today, instead opting to further assess the team’s performance in a 34-27 preseason victory over the Atlanta Falcons — and ready themselves for a trip to Tampa Bay.

The Dolphins are scheduled for two joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early next week — a great opportunity for the Dolphins to get a more accurate determination on where they are as a football team relative to some of the competition. Of course, these practices will culminate with Miami playing the Buccaneers in Week 2 of the preseason next Friday night in Tampa Bay.

This Team needs all the practice it is allowed, this is the 3 rd time they have canceled a team activity, not sure what the thought process is here, somewhat of a head scratcher.

Assessments and true developmental practice plans based on individual needs are crucial. This is what it appears to be. Blind practices are good and important, but once live action happens, there usually needs to be a large scale assessment and a shift in training to fix the necessary.

I'm assuming they still practice but for whatever reason flores wanted to handle their business in private. Whether that's because he does not like what he saw on the field or he was starting to install new things he didn't want to be viewed by the public. just my speculation

They're hopefully going to be doing a lot of hitting against the Bucs this week, so today was probably just non contact. If that makes it more palatable.
