WHat recievers will be cut,t hat are somewhat good? that maybe the miami dolphins can pick up?
 
I have a feeling Deveroy Henderson on the saints will be getting cut this summer.

man...I really wanted Adrian Arrington in the draft this year....I just hope he gets cut..I see real potential from him to not only make it in this league,but to be a quality receiver...

I think the Saints REALLY like him. I'm hoping he gets cut, but I wouldn't bet on it.
 
I wrote last week about Aromashadu really flyin' under the radar, and he was in camp with us last year. I really like the upside, so what happens, he takes one 94 yards to the house this week with Indy!!!!! Go figure. I still am kinda hopin he gets cut and we take a look, but he def is not elite or even starting material right now, although I do believe he would be an upgrade to overall depth. Another speedster type.

I've heard a lot of him. Some sources say's that Saints would keep him other say's they wont. Bringing him in wouldn't be bad at all!
 
I see 17 of the 19 moves to get to the 53 man roster as being relatively easy:

QB John Beck (trade)
RB Lex Hilliard (waive and re-signed to practice squad if not claimed)
FB Reagan Mauia (waive)
WR Anthony Armstrong (waive and re-sign to practice squad?)
KR Jayson Foster (waive-practice squad candidate?)
TE Justin Peelle (cut)
TE Matt Mulligan (waive)
G Pedro Sosa (waive-re-sign to practice squad)
G Mike Byrne (waive)
G Matt Spanos (waive)
NT Anthony Toribio (waive)
DE Lionel Dotson (waive-re-sign to practice squad)
LB Kelly Poppinga (waive)
LB Maurice Fountain (waive)
LB Junior Glymph (cut)
CB Will Billingsley (waive)
S Courtney Bryan (waive)
 
I can see the Phins keeping a close eye on whichever wideouts the Giants release. The NY team currently have 9 recievers on the roster, so the players that could be released by them include -

Dominick Hixon / Sinorice Moss / Steve Smith / Marcus Monk and Brandon London.

your thinking 2 years ago. Saban drafted him in the 7th round in 2006, we then released before the season started, he then went to Indy, Houston, and back with Indy.
 
So guys are going to get cut that will be really good in this league, why couldn't they make their own teams then? I understand a W.Welker type of under achiever will slip by every once in awhile but I can't imagine any pick-ups will make a difference this year. Now a cap casualty is alittle different, I'm just not going to get excited about other teams cast offs.

We're talking about players that are cut because their team has more talent at that specific position than ours. Lets use corner as an example.

We're weak there, but another team's 54, 55 or 56 player may be stronger than our 6 or 7 corner. So picking up say, 55 from NE may be an upgrade over our 7.

I dont think anyone assumes there will be too many immediate impact players being cut.
