Save the Season: Matt Moore, Gator Hoskins, Damian Williams, Rishard Matthews

Shut up with the Matt Moore garbage. I love Matt Moore but he is a solid back up, not a starter. I'll try to say this in the least offensive way possible but if you think Matt Moore gives us a better chance to win, you know nothing about football. Just watch the games and stop posting this garbage on here. I can't stand Joe Philbin as our coach, plain and simple he does't have what it takes to be a head coach in this league. There is a silver lining though and it's that you are not our head coach. I wouldn't even be able to watch the games if our coach was making the suggestions you are making. Seriously, these threads need to stop!

Putting all four of those players on the field at times is not a bad idea.
As long as RT plays half games, Matt Moore will be brought back up. If RT is struggling, put in Moore for a series or two.
Hoskins looks like a pretty good and athletic player. I would give him a few of Sims reps.
Williams over Hartline. Hartline is just cashing paychecks.
Philbin has succeeded in getting the pressure off the under performing players by his terrible coaching.
With 5 of the next 7 on the road, this team would need a miracle no matter who we have playing.

After 5 games, the Miami Dolphins passing game is still crawling down the field in a phone booth..

- Yards per Pass Play: 6.2 yds (ranked #30 out of 32 NFL teams)

- Longest Pass Play: 35 yds (ranked #31 out of 32 NFL teams)

- Passer Rating: 81.5 (ranked #26 out of 32 NFL teams)

The season can still be saved, but drastic changes have to be made.

- Bench: QB Ryan Tannehill.

- Rest & Rehab: WR Brian Hartline (knee). He's clearly struggling.

- Rest & Rehab: WR Brandon Gibson (knee). He's clearly struggling.

- Rest & Rehab: TE Charles Clay (knee). He's clearly struggling.

Instead, play..

- QB Matt Moore

- WR Damian Williams

- WR Rishard Matthews

- TE Gator Hoskins

REASON: Ryan Tannehill & Matt Moore are both mediocre QBs. But at least Matt Moore throws a nice deep ball. The Miami Dolphins have a $60 million nuclear weapon, that is currently hibernating and collecting dust. It's called the Mike Wallace deep go route. Ryan Tannehill is unable to unlock this weapon. Matt Moore might be able to.

Hartline, Gibson, and Clay are great when they're 100%. But they're all clearly struggling, and likely not fully recovered from knee injuries. For a skill position like WR, playing at the highest level in the NFL, not being able to fully explode through cuts is a big deal, especially since none of those 3 were blazing fast burners to begin with.

With Matt Moore throwing good deep balls to Mike Wallace, Damian Williams, Gator Hoskins, along with Jarvis Landry continuing to rip up the middle, the passing game should become more explosive, and give us a real chance of making the playoffs.

We're currently crawling to a certain death. It's time to make the change. Let it fly. Let's see what we've got.

Dick Pepperword and WVDolphan with the two thumbs up. Basically the proof needed to know Matt Moore pays them to agree on any subject that states Moore needs to start.
