i just got my florida registration renewal, it was $100:bugeye: . i'll be going back to normal fla tags and put the fins tag on the wall in my dolphins bar. the fins tags were more than regular tags previously but now its outrageous. the extra was for a charity or good cause but i wonder where florida is putting that extra now. the plate cost about a nickel to make. just another way florida is sticking to the man. i have 2 cars, my sons car and a lawn trailer due first week of january, ouch. that would be about $250 for four 2" stickers.

Yeha, the state of FL raised the fees tremendously for registration renewals. I think back in July you could have renewed for 2 yrs at the current rate. How come the price of this stuff never goes down?

its getting really hard to stay on the road with insurance, car maintenance, gas, tag renewal. thats just the bare minimum. i think they bumped up the renewal fees by 35%. they should charge us $10-20 for that sticker. i think the whole registration program is bs anyways. it should be done evry 5 years not every year. for the fee they charge i should get a hand job or a box of pop tarts, gimme something besides a freakin decal

In orlando they are going to be putting in a commuter rail, should save me some money from gas.

I had to switch back to a regular plate as well. When we started off 0-3 I was almost certain that my being a cheap crappy fan had ruined our season.

Correct me if I'm wrong (i know somebody will), but you guys don't even pay income taxes.

...not saying it's not outrageous though. I do agree.

live in the uk and you guys would have something to moan about

gas $6.72 gallon

road tax $350 a year

insurance $600 a year

CA is pretty bad too and worse :boohoo: i wish things changed its like no one is doing anything to make things "better"

I guess some of you guys have never had to register a vehicle up north. We have a long way to go before registrations are expensive. Remember, we don't have state, county and city income taxes either. We got it cheap.
