Vick steps in at some point and plays like a star resulting in McNabb being shopped next off-season.

Would you do it if Penny decided to sign some where for big money and Henne looks like he needs a couple more years on the bench learning? Now I'm talking about a reasonable trade not 2 first round picks or anything like that. Let's say for a 2010 2nd and possible future considerations (2011 4th that could go as high as a 2nd) depending on his success.

Personally....I would want as many picks as I can have in the 2010 draft.....I think it's going to be one of the more talent rich drafts in recent years....

If Michael Vick became a Dolphin I would no longer watch the team until he was gone. I know people say that until it happens, but I am 100% serious. A team that signs a person like that loses it's credibility with me.

The question was about picking McNabb up if Vick takes his job in Philly, not about us picking up Vick.

Vick Who? hes fat and out of shape; Not to include he in denile..still.. He has a long ways to go. I'm just glad we dont have to baby sit him.

I like McNabb a good deal. He's one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL. But, I'm not sure that we'll need him or that he'd be the best fit.

On this thread's side note: I hate Vick with a passion, but if he came to Miami, I'd still support our team. One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch (girl).

lol @ thinking Vick is good enough to replace McNabb. Or even brought in for an attempt to replace McNabb.

I'm glad to see our judicial system works, I wished it worked for all ppl.. Vick screwed up, lost a 100m dollar contract, spent 2 years in jail for his crime... I call that paying your debt...now that he's out, I'm glad he can work again, that's exactly how the system should work. I hate when ppl who don't pay for their crimes and keep on like nothing happened.. Since Vick paid his dues, I wouldn't have cared if the phins picked him up, that wouldn't have bother me in the least, if he didn't pay his dues, then I would have been bother.. Philly got a potentially good deal in picking him up.. As for as McNab coming here, the one thing I like about him is his rifle arm..but he's on the down size of his years too, so he wouldn't have been a long term answer, just another stop gap.. I think we need to move on..

What if we banned the pointless bloody threads. Everyone has an opinion on something, and by all means comment on players that Miami do sign, or players from other teams that get injured and miss a heap of game time or something that actually happens in a game, not some wild arsed pulled from left field idea that someone dreamed up.

What if we won the superbowl this year & we all lived happily ever after? Would it stop these stupid bloody threads?

Nahh, didn't think so.

If we banned all threads in which people had opinions then I'm guessing we probably wouldn't have any threads...

So u had no problem when we signed JD QUINN mr three time duier.

You probably had not problem with the Cecil Collins or LAwrence Phillips signings either.

I just imagine if people were as in uproar about drunk driving and spousal abuse as they are about dogfighting.

Solid answer. I hate Joey Porter with a passion but always hope for him to help our team.

What Vick did was not good, don't get me wrong. But you certainly cannot put him in the same category of as any of these guys and certainly not as Dante Stallworth or Pac Man. Stallworth killed a man there's a good chance that Pac Man did too!! Vick was a much higher profile athlete, and he got prosecuted to the fullest extent by both the government and the NFL.
