Cutler. NFL.com saying that rumors that we will go after him since RT may not be ready for start of next year will start to swirl. Please heavens, No!

The guy is not a good "team" guy - devil may care attitude. We finally have a real team chemistry now and Tanny is a big part of that. Let's not upset the apple cart brining this guy in.

Anyone think we will entertain him given familiarity w Gase?

I don't think Gase will go down that road. He knows what Cutler is. Gase is a team guy and Cutler is the complete opposite. The only reason this is a rumor is because of Gase being in Chicago for 1 season. They want a headline.

This is spot on...took the words right out of month.

If we're looking for a veteran QB to start the first 4 games or so until Tannehill is healthy (if he is healthy), and Matt Moore doesn't play well over the next 3+ weeks (including the potential playoff game I'm hoping for), then why shouldn't we sign him? He knows Gase's system and can certainly play well in stretches. And he has a gun similar to Tannehill. Give him Landry, Parker, and Stills for a few weeks, and maybe he could get us some wins.

I wouldn't mind for a short placeholder to have Cutler here with Parker, Landry, and Stills. Especially with Gase.

He isn't as awful everyone makes him out to be.

Dear God no.

Rooting for Matt Moore to play well these 3 games and hold the fort until we get Ryan back. That way everyone can forget about JC.

Though I agree this is a reach by the media at trying to reconnect Gase and Cutler, I'd rather have Moore and Cutler holding down the fort until 17 returns then Moore and Doughty. That said, I doubt Cutler goes anywhere that he will clearly be a place holder/back up.

Last I checked Cutler was sidelined and Barkley was starting this week so that report doesn't make a lot of sense. The guy has played 5 games this year. Gase had more success with Tim Tebow. I think he can win some games with Matt Moore.

Stay classy Jay

Flicking off some papparazzi doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Best case scenario is Moore shows he is the guy to hold down the fort and we sure up the #2 spot with a decent prospect or some veteran journeyman that will accept a reasonable salary
