Trade with Alanta our #1 for thier #1 3rd pick overall and a 2 of thier 3 second round picks this year.

Alanta picks Matt Ryan
St.Louis Jake Long
Trade with the Cowboys #3 pick overall for both thier 1st and thier 2nd. They still far alittle short in the pick value chart so maybe a late round pick as well http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/pick_value_chart.htm

So who would you take having picks

All day 1 picks then we would have 3rd - 7th rounds also.

Doubt it happens this way but ya never know.
So have some fun with it.

Why would you want low first rounders? You're not going to get any players with high ceilings that way. If you want to build your team by being cheap and always accumulating low first rounders and second rounders, all you'll be in 5 years is a fringe, mediocre team.

Tom brady 7th rounder, jerry rice, terell davis 7th, Zack Thomas 5th, Jason tayler 3rd, and tons of other players in late rounds found. I rather have a ton of picks then a chance on a bust or 2 see past dolphins drafts.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

So you rather take a chance on 1 guy who all the scouts think will be great then a few guys they may have over looked. Scouts have been wrong far more then they have been right.

Too bad the Falcons won't have to trade up to draft Ryan.

Thats why PB and Co. is trying to get the other teams to bite and move up in the draft. So we can move down and aquire more picks.

Jerry Rice was a first rounder. 16th overall pick. Brady and TD were 6th rounders, but other than being way off on Rice I see your point. But for every Davis and Brady, there's 12 Tim Watsons and 15 Thomas Hammers. (If you said, "Who?", that's exactly my point, they were selected in the 6th round of the 2000 draft) You can't bank on finding a diamond in the rough stud in the 6th round.

Plus that would probably cost more money than just selecting as is. And neither trade is going to happen (Dallas isn't giving up the farm for McFadden and Atlanta surely isn't sacrificing that depth they desperately need in order to move up two spots, especially if they like Ryan and he'll be there at 3).

If you don't trust your scouts then what's the point of having them?
