Funny I got got a text Message from the Sun-Sentential about an Ex Dolphin head coach (Tony Sparano) taking over the Raiders. But here at Finheaven
It is not Dolphins related enough. The moving police strike again.

I for one will be rooting for him. By the time he was fired I was done with him, but I still will appreciate that he is the only coach in 12 years now to lead the Dolphins to the playoffs, and this a year after the most bleak year any of us could imagine.

Tony is a good man and a good motivator but head coach? No.

They're dumb if the don't. He's the "Ball coach" that most players know and understand. He'll
make them trot through the motions. and come out to play week by week.

It's not inspired. It's not a some stroke of genius, but Sparano will rally 'em up and
not embarass anyone too badly.

He's the guy you want to work your team through a throw away season. Which is going
to get harder, not easier.

I agree. He is a very safe pick and you really don't have to worry that he will end up one of your canidates unless he does something amazing which I don't see happening with that team.
You can start the off season with a clean slate and get the best guy you can to run your franchise. I expect Jim Tomasula DLcoach for 49ers to end up with job unless they really pull a rabbit ot of hat.
I do think they should tell Tony if you can right the ship we give you a chance based on the job you do .

Tony Sparano will handle things in a different way than Allen. Sparano wants this opportunity and it could be his last chance as HC in this league.
Believe me it's going to be fun to watch.

While Tony his not a head coach or an OC in football, as the interim, he' should be able to squeak out a few wins for Oakland.

Wouldn't it be something if the Raiders went 10-2 the rest of the way?
