If you watch the games without a biased hate for any one player, looking for evidence to prove your many points of contention as valid........you will easily see that our offense is anything but what we were promised prior to the season. It is absurdly predictable and our players are NOT prepared!!! Yeah, RT hasn't looked like Peyton Manning but it is not even feasible to pin these losses on any one player.

You can watch every other team and at least 3-4 times WR's are gaining separation and are hit wide open. We are NOT!! Every single throw is made to a receiver that is being blanketed and RT is being asked far too much to make perfect throws...to receivers that rarely fight for the ball. The scheme is not making this happen like it was supposed to, and being the team with the most drops in the league makes it even worse. Hate on RT, Miller or whoever you want.....these losses are completely on the coaching staff. This team is begging to be given the opportunities and they are constantly thwarted by boneheaded play calling and coaching decisions.

These coaches better find some major fire in their guts and start going after teams or we will be lucky to win 6 games.

The play calling and clock management have been terrible on both sides of the ball for the last two games for sure.

He is killing us because he keeps playing a QB who has zero ability.

Sorry to rain on your parade but yesterday there were open receivers on every pass play called.

What about the times when our receivers are 3-4 yards ahead of the DB's and the ball is under thrown or thrown to the wrong spot? This coaching staff is looking bad, but we have seen multiple coaching staffs with the same result. 7-9, 8-8, 7-9. Some players carry more weight than others even though this is a team sport. The quartback can make the O-line, WR's play and defense (with more rest) play better with better decisions and throws. That's why they get paid the big bucks. If you will take the glory when you win, you have to take the shots when you lose.

Coaching is part of the problem. But if a player at this level can't get separation, it's the player. If the QB can't be accurate, it's the player. If the team can't find the urgency, it's them. I'm not saying coaching has no responsibility in all this, but year after year, scheme after scheme. Coach after coach.. it's always the same. Our players flat out suck.

I agree with the thread title if not the entire content of the post.

It's far more than that WV. Don't let your hatred of RT cloud your judgment for the rest of the teams issues.

Something is seriously wrong with this team, and it absolutely starts with Philbin and his coaching staff. The team looks completely unprepared, unmotivated, and is consistently out coached and out worked by the other team. You can see the frustration in the faces of some of the players. We lose to the Raider's, which at this point feels real likely, and I think the wheels are going to completely fall off and this is going to get ugly.

I asked this of Omar last week, still haven't gotten a response:

@OmarKelly answer me this: why are other teams WR's catching balls in wide open space vs Phins but Miami's are always fighting for the ball?

how many coaching cards are in the ryan tannehill excuse deck?

Philbin is way over his head. The game at Tampa last year erased any doubt in my mind.

We are 2nd in yard per carry rushing (5.2) but are 23rd in attempts (26.3)

Poor coaching and inability by RT17 to convert a 3rd down. 25th in league with 36%

and they dropped the balls. RT was not throwing behind people in this game. This is not trying to RT has played like the "answer"...but these plays are not fooling anyone!!! There is no mismatches or misdirection with the tempo we were promised. This is a coaching problem at every level. We have plenty of skill and talent on this team. There is no disputing it.

There's even an article about the D speaking out and "irate" with the coaches. The QB is not in any way the reason we gave up 34 points to a winless team.

If you read the OP this is not making excuses or saying that RT has played like an all pro (was even stated clearly in the OP), it's simply calling out the poor coaching. I don't care who was the QB, they are not our biggest problem right now. There is no fire or passion on the field and the players are not prepared. It's coaching, if you want to call what they are doing coaching.

I don't disagree. Alot of Miami's issues could be psychlogical. It reminds me of (Braves P) Tom Glavine back in the day who would get shellacked in the 1st inning more often than not. Yet, he was pretty good the rest of the way.

Are they panicking in SF? Probably not?

Maybe, some of you deserve a team that is perpetually 8-8. Its poetic justice when you link up a consistently inconsistent team w/ a bipolar fan base.

On a tangent, I thought the phins would be 1-2 at this point and 2-2 headed into the bye.

Further, I said to a buddy if Miami loses at least 1/3 of this site will act as if Miami is 0-17. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
