Scared to throw

I don't understand why Dave is sticking with Feeley when it's obvious he is so scared to throw with him. 3rd and 12 and where running a draw play? give me a break. Dave is scared to let A.J. throw in any big type of situation. Why? Because he is scared that Feeley will throw an int. That is no way to run an offense, especially an offense that we already know sucks. I've said this 100 times and i'm going to say it 101, I refuse to let our whole season go down the drain so that AJ Feeley can learn how to play QB. We weren't 4-12 last year, we were 10-6 and we deserve better then this!!

Actually, a draw play is a good call on 3rd and 12. Charlie Weis isn't scared to have Brady pass the ball, but he calls a draw on 3rd and 12 quite frequently, especially when he's backed up against his own end zone.

There are situations where surviving to punt the ball on 4th down is one of the better things that can happen on a 3rd down play. Sacks, fumbles, and INTs deep in your own territory are game-killers.

I actually thought Wanny made a huge mistake going for it with 4th and inches last night. Between the weather and the utterly putrid offenses, that was clearly a "field position" defensive game to win or lose. Punt the ball deep and win the field position game.
