picture this....

Madison for a 4th.
Booker a 3rd.

now we have top 5 but leinart is gone n' no quinn. Trade our pick for 2 1sts, pick up a DT/OFF T./CB/S/LB wiht the 1st one, second one Cutler, then the 2nd rd, C/DT/Off T./CB/S/LB/ depending which we got from teh 1st pick and the 3rd rd same thign, wiht our booker 3rd, same thing, adn our 2 4ths same thing. Can this become a possiblity? we can fill a hole in each of those with this situation due to an extra 3 picks especially an extra one in the 1st rd. then we STILL have FA to work with. If we dont do this, i see us making a push for Leinart as we can fill a LOT of holes through FA and those picks/some players involved wont harm us much.
 
if were somhow able to get those picks how about we package some picks together for a trade up for leinart?
 
I don't think Madison's contract would allow us to cut/trade him. I think we would take a big hit for that.


Also, I want Booker to stay.
 
every year before the draft there all sorts of scenarios drawn up, and most of them involve like 6 different trades, which never happen for any team in an offseason (save the marlins). so let's try and be more realistic with these things

If we cut him right now we would take a 3 million dollar hit, if we get well under the cap he isnt safe. I hope he will renegotiate down to a minimal contract with incintives. As a Nickle corner he wouldnt be bad. If Poole comes back and Daniels continues to develop, he would be very serviceable as the 3rd CB. But not at 7 million dollars!!!

As inconsistent as Chambers is..he's still better than Marty Booker...that guy has been as huge as a dissapointment as there has been...

We gave up alot for him and he has done NOTHING!

Booker hasnt torn it up, but who has!!!! He has been pretty good and is a solid #2 WR and isnt terribly expensive.

Whilst I agree with you to a degree, CC only has 91 yards more than Booker (CC does have 4 more TD's though) on 15 extra Receptions, and he is the #1 Wr. If Booker was the #1 and CC #2, Booker would probably have more receptions. The reason for saying this is CC would probably be worth more in a trade than Marty, although personally I would like to keep both.
 
booker seems more like a 1 as he seems more of a sure hands/possession reviever then CC. CC is more likfe a i need a big play i go to him type of WR. booker might fit more into the chad johnson To type on our team as CC is more of teh R. Moss type. get waht i mean? TO n C J make plays n go through the field wehreas teh CC comparison to R. MOss is going deep or sidelines. thats all basically.
