Adam Schefter just said on ESPN that when the league begins investigating the Dolphins they will find that the Martin and Incognito fiasco is not the only case of harassment that they will find, apparently the harassment reaches up into the upper levels of management. Martin apparently also went AWOL during OTA's.
 
Management clearly needs to start setting up a lawsuit against Schefter.

He didn't say Philbin was made aware of that, he said, it was puzzling when he (Martin) went AWOL why didn't the organization bother to figure out what was really wrong with him. Especially if he was suppose to be the protector of the Franchise quarterback..
 
Schefter has a story and is running with it, unfortunately I don't believe a word he is saying right now.
 
He did not say that philbin knew. He said that martin took two days off and there wasn't an explanation. That whole segment was bull****. He vaguely accused the organization of more harassment and didn't provide anything beyond that. Pretty big claim to only talk on it for 10 seconds...
 
Schefter speculated on a national spotlight. He's as reckless as they come.

He said Martin was missing from OTAs in April for two days and the dolphins management did not inquire as to his reason for missing.

Is it managements job to hand hold everyone and make sure their wittle feelings aren't getting hurt? I think it's Martins job to alert the team that he is having a significant issue with a teammate. Man up and do the right thing and step up and tell the coach. Not run to momma with tail between legs so she can turn it into a public spectacle.
 
So now Philbin was bullying Martin? Riiiiiight


OTAs I believe are voluntary, not really sure the team has to locate him.
 
Here's what matters, the NFL will have their results soon. Miami invited the NFL in immediately. That's all that matters, not fathers in fan forums, or reporters with agendas.

Punishments will be handed out. Things will move on.

Clearly, who cares if your left tackle shows up for practice? Just say screw it and ignore the problem, that makes everything better. Nothing can come back to haunt your inaction later. Nothing at all.

Absolutely love how this forum takes shots at Martin turning to his family...less then 24 hours after Incognito's father jumped on this forum in defense of his son. Just...fantastic guys, cant express how amused i am. Watching this unfold has been depressing, please continue the amusement.
 
yup. makes perfect sense. by the book joe philbin and his coaching staff, and the front office business types (the higher ups, of course) are masters of harassment of their own players. i should have known!
 
And here we go with the agenda based propaganda........ Don't care if some of you guys 'no thanks' my post, I still think Schefter is a pompous blowhard sh*t stirrer.
 
I'd personally find it hilarious if Ireland releases voicemails from Dawn Aponte threatening to **** in his mouth if he spends another high pick on an olineman BUST

maybe the crapping in each other's mouth thing is an accepted practice amongst players and management, and we all just don't understand?
