Pretty happy with those guys, would prefer McAdoo but happy with other 2 as well.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on SportsCenter Friday morning that the Dolphins' offensive coordinator search is "zeroing in" on Kyle Shanahan, Gary Kubiak, and Ben McAdoo.
Miami is the only team with known interest in Shanahan and Kubiak, while McAdoo has drawn interest from the Giants and Browns. Shanahan and Kubiak's offenses are similar and would be a fantastic fit for Ryan Tannehill, who would benefit from being utilized on boot-action plays with more commitment to a foundation run game. Miami essentially did not have a run game in 2013.

I will take Kubiak or McAdoo, but keep Shanahan the hell away from my team... His rigid offense will have us praying for Sherman back

I'd be really happy with McAdoo and Kubiak.

Shanahan's propensity to put his QB on the hoof worries me. Then again, it's hard to judge him based on RG 3rd & long, because he has shown that when he can't run, he sucks as a QB. That could have been more of a playing to a QB's strengths philosophy than anything else.

Kubiak please! This would be freakin great! I'm wondering tho, how long will these good reports last before we start getting slammed by the regular beat writing ***s?? Haha

I worry about the rigid offense as well. Would he run a progression offense much like Sherman or would he allow Tannehill to make adjustments at the line thus allowing the offense to take advantage of the best mismatches against the defense?

Tannehill has really proven to me this season that he can verify want the defense is trying to do. Now I want him to take advantage of that skill.

Shanahan was hancuffed by RGMe.

When the read option got taken away, he looked meh at qb, still can't read a defense.

He'd do good things here in Miami IMO

My issue with Shanahan is I have no idea how to measure him because of RGIII...he basically had to change most of the passing offense to resemble that of Baylor's just to make RGIII serviceable.

If we are somehow lucky enough to land Gary Kubiak as our new OC I will do cartwheels. And then send Mike Sherman a thank-you note for convincing his friend Gary to take the job.

Kubiak is absolutely phenomenal. You will see a totally different Ryan Tannehill, in terms of production, under his offense.

I'll do cartwheels. CARTWHEELS.

no shanny...rg3 is telling everyone he wants to play in a pro system which will fail cause he cant read the field but shanny stuck with the read option despite all that contact in 2012...and i was thinking it was because of rg3...sounds like it was more shannys doing

no thanks
